What is diamond clarity?
Clarity refers to the presence of tiny imperfections inside a diamond (inclusions) or on its surface (blemishes). Fewer and less visible inclusions mean a higher clarity grade.
The IGI clarity scale runs from Internally Flawless (IF), where no inclusions are visible under 10x magnification, down to Included (I3), where inclusions are visible to the naked eye.
We stock diamonds graded between IF and SI2. At the lower end of that range, inclusions are still difficult to spot without magnification, so every diamond in our selection looks clean to the eye.
For a deeper look at how clarity is assessed, see IGI's clarity grading guide.
Clarity grades we carry
Each grade below describes the size, number, and visibility of inclusions under 10x magnification. In practice, most diamonds graded VS2 and above appear identical to the naked eye.

IF
Internally flawless (IF). An extremely rare and valuable clarity grade.

VVS1
Very, Very Slightly Included 1 (VVS1). Near-flawless clarity. Inclusions are hard to detect even under magnification, making it an exceptional choice.

VVS2
Very, Very Slightly Included 2 (VVS2). Close to flawless but offering better value. Inclusions are difficult to spot without magnification.

VS1
Very Slightly Included 1 (VS1). Inclusions are just visible under magnification and generally invisible to the naked eye, offering great value.

VS2
Very Slightly Included 2 (VS2). Inclusions are visible under 10x magnification but not noticeable to the naked eye, providing excellent value.

SI1
Slightly Included 1 (S1). Inclusions are easily seen under magnification and may be visible without it, though still difficult to detect.

SI2
Slightly Included 2 (S2). More inclusions than SI1, visible under magnification, with a slight chance of being seen by the naked eye.
