In 2020, I bought a lab-grown diamond and had it set into an engagement ring for my now wife. At the time, there were only a handful of suppliers and lab-grown diamonds were still a fairly niche choice.
A few years later, I went looking for another lab-grown diamond. The market had changed. Prices had dropped and new suppliers had appeared. But when I compared wholesale pricing to what retailers were charging, the gap was hard to ignore. Customers weren't seeing the benefit of those falling costs, and the buying process was still unnecessarily opaque.
That experience is what led to Diamond Labs. The idea was straightforward: sell loose lab-grown diamonds at fair prices, show all the information upfront, and give people the tools to compare options properly.
Today, Diamond Labs offers an extensive selection of IGI certified loose lab-grown diamonds. We focus on loose stones and aim to do that well. Most of our customers take their diamond to a local jeweller to have it set, giving them the freedom to create exactly what they want.
